Wil SchulerT Thanks for all your hard work and kindness during our recent hunt. I especially appreciate your effort helping my Dad get around and putting him on a nice buck. This was our first western hunting trip and the number of deer and antelope seen, the accommodations, the food, and the hospitality all surpassed what we had anticipated for our trip. Spending time with Dad and my son, Adlai, in the great outdoors, letting them spend a few days together, and having a good hunt mean more to me than harvesting a record book animal. The memories that you and your staff at H Crown helped us to create will always be appreciated.
Thanks again for a great pronghorn antelope hunt. I still find it hard to believe that I shot such a nice buck on the first morning! The food was great, the accommodations good, and the service was above my expectations. I hope to come out again sometime.
It was a pleasure to hunt a large
parcel of well managed mule deer habitat. Seen several deer every day,
lots of nice bucks. Cabins are well maintained and certainly
sufficient for the hunt. Took a 25 1/2 inch wide 3x4 mule deer at 420
yards. This was one of several bucks that I seen this size and larger.
Prepare yourself ahead of time for long range shots such as this with
possibilities of closer range shots. Thanks for a quality hunt
combined with hospitality and friendship.
Just a short note to express my gratitude for a quality Wyoming turkey hunt. The setting is second only to the accommodations. Hunting opportunities were endless with new groups of gobblers observed each day. The quality of the hunting experience has to be rated AAA. The scenery is truly breath taking. This is classic Merriam's turkey habitat with an abundance of Wild birds. The "camping accommodations" are rustic, comfortable, and scenic. All the day to day needs are attended to, with comfortable sleeping quarters and some of the best dinning found in the shadow of Devils Tower. Good food, abundant turkey, and excellent company...it doesn't get any better than this. Thanks again Ken!
Thanks for such a great week at your ranch. Everything was just right. Great company to be around! You and Pam really made us feel like friends. The cabins were comfortable, the game plentiful, the scenery was great, and the food was outstanding. This was a perfect hunt for me to take Dad along. I will recommend this experience to anyone who is interested. You really gave us a memorable week and that's what this hunt was all about for Dad and I.  Robert
Montgomery, Jr. Manistee, Michigan My Dad, my brother, and I just hunted 4 days with H Crown Outfitters in Hulett, WY with Ken Hutton and guides, Jared and Justin. The land is fabulous with hundreds of Mule deer and Whitetail deer; many very good bucks to choose from. These folks go the extra mile to make your hunt a very successful one and one that you will remember the rest of your life. Very nice accommodations with that rustic feel make for a wilderness experience. Ken, see you next year and thanks for a GREAT HUNT.
If you are considering hunting with Ken I would tell you absolutely YES!!! Ken and crew are all great guys and all know what they are doing. All these guys are good down to earth fellas and very accommodating. I've been hunting the west for about 20 years, but this was my first guided hunt. Let me tell you it was worth every penny. Ken's property has lots of good bucks, so you can be picky on what you decide to shoot. The cabins were very nice and food was good. I had a great time on this hunt. I give H CROWN an A++++ rating and will be hunting with them again.

Just a line to let you know how much we really enjoyed your hospitality and hunting last week! You really gave us a trip to remember and you went well beyond the call of duty in giving a bunch of hairy arsed "foreigners" like us a great time. Please know that you have a warm welcome and a bed anytime you wish here in Bolton. (After a week with you in Wyoming, everything here in the UK seems a bit small ... especially the sky!) on a family prairie dog hunt. We've bounced from outfitter to outfitter
some good, some okay, some not so good. The only outfitter we've had
thus far that we'd consider great is Ken Hutton of H Crown. We hunted
prairie dogs with Ken for three days in May 2006. He delivered exactly
what we wanted. For the high volume rifleman, he provided plenty of
shooting. For my social security aged dad and uncle, Ken unobtrusively
provided the extra spotting and assistance to compensate for their aging
eyes. For me, Ken accommodated my use of long range pistols and interest
in stalking and shooting prairie dogs with revolvers. Ken kept us all
busy with plenty of prairie dogs and somehow maintained a pleasurable
hunting pace for a very diverse group. Our wandering days are over.
We're hunting prairie dogs next year with Ken Hutton and H Crown
Outfitters. I wanted to write and thank you for
providing yet another memorable hunting experience. The numbers of deer
and especially of large antlered deer that Richard an I saw was truly
amazing. I cannot get over the body size of many of the mule deer. The
buck that I took was probably twice as heavy as my best Alabama
whitetail and he was in a group of six similar sized animals. What an
area! As they were last year, your guides were great and really worked
to help Richard and I with the spot and stalk hunting techniques and
with field judging the deer and especially the antelope we observed.
Your daughter was an excellent camp cook and made it impossible to avoid
eating too much. All in all, as I said in the beginning, it was a
memorable hunting experience. I am counting the days until next season
and look forward to hunting with H Crown again.
